Youth Pastor
Position Title: Youth Pastor
Position Overview: International Pentecostal Assembly is seeking a passionate and spiritually grounded Youth Pastor to lead and disciple our Youth. The ideal candidate will foster a Christ-centered community, guide youth in their spiritual growth, and partner with families to nurture lifelong faith.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Spiritual Leadership
Teach and model a growing, Christ-centered life consistent with Biblical principles.
Provide pastoral care, mentoring, and discipleship for students.
Lead our Chapel ministry and youth-focused gatherings.
Program Development
Plan, organize, and oversee weekly youth gatherings and special events.
Create a safe, inclusive, and dynamic environment that encourages spiritual growth and fellowship.
Team Building and Administration
Train, and develop youth ministry volunteers.
Manage ministry calendars
Communicate effectively with church leadership, parents, and volunteers.
Outreach and Engagement
Use social media and digital tools to connect with students and promote ministry activities.
Encourage youth involvement in broader church life and community service.
Partner with other ministry leaders in the church to help develop our youth.
Qualifications & Experience:
A committed follower of Jesus Christ, demonstrating a mature and growing relationship with Him.
A clear sense of calling to youth ministry and agreement with the International Pentecostal Assembly’s statement of faith and values.
Lifestyle and conduct consistent with Biblical standards for Christian leadership.
Requirements: Completed undergraduate level education and currently in or have completed seminary or graduate-level training in Ministry, Theology, or Counseling.
2–3 years of experience leading or serving in youth ministry (paid or volunteer).
Proven ability to teach, mentor, and disciple youth effectively.
Experience working collaboratively in ministry teams and coordinating volunteers.
Excellent communication and relational skills with youth, parents, and staff.
Strong organizational and planning abilities for programs and the ability to cross-collaborate with other ministry leaders at IPA.
Administrative proficiency, including budgeting, scheduling, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.Familiarity with social media and digital tools for youth outreach.
Additional Requirements
Willingness to undergo a background check.
Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
Valid driver’s license (if transportation of youth is required).
US Citizen or US Permanent Resident
