Pastor Shibu Cherian

Pastor Shibu Cherian is a passionate and dedicated servant of God, with over 25 years of active ministry experience. He holds a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) from the Pentecostal Theological Seminary and a Ph.D. in Pastoral Ministry from Newburgh Theological Seminary. Pastor Shibu has served in various capacities throughout his ministry, including teaching, leadership development, and pastoral care, making a lasting impact on both the local and global church communities.

Pastor Shibu is a certified life coach and has authored several books and resources to help believers grow in their relationship with Christ. His leadership style is characterized by a deep commitment to the Word of God, strong biblical teaching, and a heart for discipleship. He is passionate about equipping the next generation of leaders and fostering spiritual growth within the church.

In addition to his pastoral and educational work, Pastor Shibu has been involved in church planting efforts and has a vision for outreach that touches lives beyond the walls of the church. His desire is to see the church be a beacon of hope and love in the community, fulfilling the Great Commission by making disciples of all nations.

Pastor Shibu is happily married to his wife, Nissy, and they are blessed with children Priscila & Justin, Pheba & Joel, Persis, and grandson Ethan. As a family, they have always been deeply involved in ministry, and they share a strong commitment to serving God and His people. Together, they look forward to walking alongside the IPAOK congregation, building a thriving community of faith that seeks to glorify God in all things.

As the new Senior Pastor of IPAOK, Pastor Shibu is excited to lead the church in this new chapter, encouraging spiritual growth, unity, and a heart for missions.
