IPA WORSHIP

ABOUT US

At IPA, our calling is to lift His name above all else. This is done through our praise and worship through song and music. We strive to create an atmosphere where worship is heartfelt, genuine, and transformational. We aim to lead our diverse congregation into deeper encounters with God through songs we sing and our corporate prayer. As a member of our team, you are not just a musician or vocalist; you are a part of our entire church body and an integral part of our ministerial team. If you are interested in joining our growing team, we encourage you to connect with us as we grow in our gifting(s) together.

OUR WHY AND OUR HOW

1 Peter 4:10-11: Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.

OUR VISION

We are a team equipped by the Holy Spirit, learning to lead others into passionate worship and pursuing a lifestyle of faith in God - in calling, competence and character.

OUR TEAMS

  • Our diverse team, spanning various backgrounds and generations, unites to worship God through English songs of praise. Our mission is to elevate songs that proclaim the biblical truths of our Lord. We adhere to three core principles in our selection process for worship songs:

    1. Each song must be grounded in Scripture.
    2. Each song should honor at least one person of the Trinity—God, Jesus, or the Holy Spirit.
    3. Each song should emphasize the praise of God above all else, rather than focusing on humanity.

Through these principles, we strive to ensure that our worship is both spiritually enriching and theologically sound, fostering a deep and genuine connection with our Creator.

  • We are blessed to be a multigenerational and multilingual congregation. Our Malayalam Worship Team plays a vital role in ministering to members who express their faith through Malayalam, our native language from India. This dedicated team leads worship services with heartfelt Malayalam songs of praise, creating a space where our community can engage in worship that embodies the spirit of our homeland. All members of IPA are welcome to participate in these Malayalam services, regardless of their proficiency in the language. Our Malayalam Service takes place every Sunday at 9:30 a.m.

  • At IPA, we believe that our children are both our present and our future. As responsible stewards, we are dedicated to mentoring them into leaders of worship within their schools and communities. Our NextGen Worship Development Program, designed for IPA members ages 16 and under, focuses on nurturing musical and vocal talents, paired with solid theological teaching, advanced musical training, and leadership development. Guided by experienced worship team members, this program aims to create a collaborative environment for growth, preparing young worship leaders for impactful roles within the church and beyond.
